Steps to Lift a Flush Sliding Door:
1. Check the Track and Rollers
Ensure the track is level and securely mounted.
Inspect the rollers/wheels for damage or wear-replace if necessary.
2. Locate the Adjustment Mechanism
Most sliding door hardware has height adjustment screws on the hangers (the brackets that attach the door to the track).
Top-mounted systems: Look for a hex screw on the hanger.
Side-mounted systems: Check for a vertical adjustment screw.
3. Lift the Door (Height Adjustment)
Use a hex key to turn the adjustment screw (usually clockwise to raise, counterclockwise to lower).
Make small adjustments (¼ turn at a time) and test the door's movement.
If the door has multiple hangers, adjust each one evenly to keep the door level.
4. Recheck Alignment

The lift & slide is a relatively new method of operating the sliding door system, driven by the frequent need for larger glass panels. These doors sit directly on the track, where the handle must be spun around 180 degrees to 'lift' the door onto the rollers, to then 'slide' open.
